Earth has fallen, mankind was annihilated in chaos and their world now belonged to the demons. It's said that War was at fault for the destruction of the earth. However, only two don't believe in that possibility. One was a former comrade of The Hellguard; Faith, an angel who cast herself out of the remaining group, hoping to learn what triggered the Apocalypse and to aid War.
The other shares a deeper connection with War; Death, the rider of the pale horse. Now the eldest of the four sets out on a mission. Not only to prove his brother's innocence but to also revive mankind. However, the journey won't be easy, as Death somehow manages to gain a travel companion.
