Amity had been given a new goal. Find the group she was meant to meet up with and go to her brother. All while searching for Luz and Emira along the way. But things weren't so simple anymore. She had enemies she was at war with, and there were more sinister things at play now that she knew something had changed in the Monster around her too. But now there are even more dark things at play and Amity finds herself right in the middle. When everything starts to take its toll, will Amity be able to remain standing long enough to achieve her goals? Or will she finally fall at the hands of the world she's been so desperately trying to survive?

Luz and Emira would do anything to find Amity again. With conditions changing and their friendship growing, will it be enough to help them overcome everything they're being faced with? With a war to fight and their own inner battle, Luz and Emira must face it all together if they are going to have a chance at stopping Belos.

When they do reunite, what will they do when the separate lives they'd created in their absence collide?
