Greere Soyer is 15 years old. Her entire family was murdered a few years before and she has been in foster care ever since. She lived in a small town for 9 years of her life, with her now deceased family.

But when she went into foster care she ended up in New York City. She lived with a woman that had drug issues and a man that was a drunk. A little sister was what she was to call her foster sister. A bratty little girl that thought she deserved everything she wanted.

But everything changes one night when Greere was walking home by herself from a school event.
