"I never had a chance did I?" I say.
"That's the funny thing- you did once."
....................................................................................................................................................................
Mika is an immigrant from Latvia who came with his mother to the States with nothing but the clothes on their backs. He tried his hardest to stray away from the light and keep in the shadows at school, for the sake of his mother. He does everything for his mother, even putting her own needs before his. The last thing he needs right now is to fall in love. Until August Tether.
....................................................................................................................................................................
August has always been a glass-half-full kinda gal. Anybody who's ever met her would tell you she radiates light from her every crevice. She's the golden child at home, the model student at school, and the fun one out of her friends. The one everybody wants at their party, but what happens behind closed doors? August fully believes she can keep up the facade. Nobody needs to know what happens at night after everybody's gone home, and her parents have fallen asleep. Until Mika Ivanova.
....................................................................................................................................................................
Ten years later, Mika has a blossoming business, and August is a successful lawyer, soon to be wed to the love of her life. They don't think of each other. Except, in the mornings, the afternoons, and at night. Surely it's harmless, they no longer talk of course. Until they run into each other at a New York coffee shop. Suddenly, they're both fifteen again, old wounds you once thought had healed opened, and fresh ones are slowly being carved into your skin. Healed over scars suddenly break and the stakes are higher than they ever were.
As a result of the tragic death of her father; Heaven Foster's life has mouldered into a exasperating cycle
of moving from one home to another.
Consequently, not staying in a house for more than a year means having to move schools more times than a typical seventeen year old girl should.
Heaven is used to blending in with the crowd, so that she can be unnoticed by people, but being unnoticed while you're the new student of Lakeswood high school is not that easy.
Let's just say that stumbling across a certain group of bad boys enumerates to the trouble, including crashing- literally into the most feared one of them all.
Dominant. Menacing. Mysterious. Unpredictable. Cold.
Blake Martinez.

MUST READ
Just now I have come onto this app again to check it out, and I am overwhelmed with all your kind messages and wishes for me to update!
I began writing this book when I was very young and only a couple years later, I had stumbled across this app again and decided to look at what I created. In my spare time, i decided to edit as much as I could and began to write new chapters. Writing was a little hobby of mine, something that I didn't take seriously as I only wrote for fun. I definitely didn't think that my book would get this many readers!!
Thank you to all of you who genuinely took time to read my book. I deeply apologise for keeping you all waiting, and left wondering if I was going ahead with this story or not. Sadly, to all of my readers who was looking forward to reading more of my story. I am sorry to say that I will not be working on this book anymore.
Perhaps in the later future Heaven and Blake will make an epic return! However, as of now, their love story remains how it is.
Thank you!
