Fire's Phoenix, a Deathwing princess, was born with the horrible ancient markings. She is locked in her room by her mother to avoid other dragons. This causes her sister to be assassinated. She grows up, meets other dragons, including the prince of the Sandwings, becomes queen... and when her markings finally start to do something, it's too late.
