Years into the future after Shadow the Hedgehog's--who is now long forgotten--death, a seemingly ordinary person is being haunted by dreams (Visions? Memories? Hallucinations?) of a girl asking him to make a promise. Shadow (why does he feel a connection to that name...?) must now figure out what these dreams are, and potentially save the world along the way. (Cover art by unknown artist.)

Lost in Shadow's Embrace (A Shadamy Story)
Amy Rose and Sonic the Hedgehog have been dating for quite some time now. Amy can hardly believe that the man who has saved her life multiple times throughout her life is her boyfriend. The blue hero of Mobius with a regular girl who lives far out on the city's outskirts. Amy believed that when Sonic finally accepted her, he would begin to warm up and match her affection for him. However, it seems her daredevil hedgehog boyfriend hasn't changed much since the days of her chasing him around. He's distant, rarely comes to visit her, and barely ever mentions his relationship with her outside of dates Amy plans for them. Shadow the Hedgehog is widely seen as a loner hedgehog that no one outside a few people can interact with successfully. The Ultimate Lifeform is still haunted by his past visions of Maria, his best friend, and granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik. He doesn't enjoy being around people, particularly Sonic due to his annoyingly enthusiastic personality contrasting to his own serious, focused one. No one has ever been able to make Shadow feel the way Maria has. No one has been able to make him hope again. On the night of Princess Sally's Birthday Ball, a truth is revealed to Amy about Sonic. Something...unexpected, causes her to run away from the party ashamed. That same night she shows someone the extent of her strength that she holds back. It's safe to say he's impressed... The Hedgehog From Another Timeline
In another timeline a strange being attacked the universe. A resistance was formed to tried to stop the threat but they were squashed. Only one hedgehog from the resistance survived and needed to protect the remaining of his people. He was told to run away, his worse fear came into mind as he lost his home, his family, and his friends. He ran as fast as he could, the purple streak as he run, he was able to run so fast that he went into another timeline. A timeline where heroes truly exist.
