Years into the future after Shadow the Hedgehog's--who is now long forgotten--death, a seemingly ordinary person is being haunted by dreams (Visions? Memories? Hallucinations?) of a girl asking him to make a promise. Shadow (why does he feel a connection to that name...?) must now figure out what these dreams are, and potentially save the world along the way. (Cover art by unknown artist.)

Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The characters are aged up as follows; Sonic-21, Shadow-22, Rouge-22, Knuckles-23, Amy-19, Tails-15, Silver-18, Mephiles-18, Mighty-18, Sally-16 I am open to constructive criticism, so if you notice a mistake or something that just doesn't make sense, please comment so I can fix it. The Hedgehog From Another Timeline
In another timeline a strange being attacked the universe. A resistance was formed to tried to stop the threat but they were squashed. Only one hedgehog from the resistance survived and needed to protect the remaining of his people. He was told to run away, his worse fear came into mind as he lost his home, his family, and his friends. He ran as fast as he could, the purple streak as he run, he was able to run so fast that he went into another timeline. A timeline where heroes truly exist.

Shadow The Hedgehog has always had visions about Maria in his 'dreams', thoughts about her demise constantly penetrating the protective barrier of his sleep to infiltrate his mind with her. Oftentimes, the dreams would only occur once or twice a month, leaving him shaken and generally more bitter than usual, yet... They seemed to be occurring more often than ever before. Coincidentally, he's also having to come to terms with the fact that he so obviously has developed a massive crush with his rival, Sonic The Hedgehog, and that he also has to work with him. How on earth he's going to deal with this? Chaos knows. Or Stupid alien hedgehog has nightmares about his sister while also having feelings for his rival and it's affecting the hell outta him!!
