Emalyn, Isabella, and Madi grew up together in California and have been best friends since they were young. While growing up, they began to take different turns, but continued to stay close. Emalyn had a difficult home life, Madi traveled with her mom a lot, and Isabella was always focused on her future. When Isabella moves to Boston for college and tries to invite Madi and Emalyn to go with her, they are hesitant to move away from home. Who might they happen to meet? Will Emalyn's past follow her?
