"Why bother with time travel if you end up in the future instead of the past?"

Haruno Sakura's decision to meddle with time and destiny initially seemed sensible in the face of impending shinobi world devastation.

She had a plan: alter the past, eliminate Danzo, rescue Sai from his clutches, and thwart the likes of Danzo, Madara, Zetsu, and even the Akatsuki.

Did I mention her determination to eliminate Danzo?

Yet, what purpose did this grand plan serve when her temporal journey did not lead her to the past but instead thrust her into a future where violence held no solution?

To make matters worse, killing was now a heinous crime in this unfamiliar world.

(or that fic with: Killing is so last century; now it's all about friendship, cooperation, and saving the planet.

So there you have it, Sakura: a future where the pen is mightier than the kunai, and instead of ninja battles, they have 'rock-paper-scissors' tournaments to settle disputes.)
