In a sudden accident, Tyra Swiftwater's life takes a dangerous turn in a very unexpected way. Her situation? Her height has gone from feet to inches in a matter of seconds. The familiar world around her becomes increasingly hostile with each passing day, the stakes of death raised high. Especially when a dreadful plot begins to unfold, manipulated by an alleged killer.
Seto Magius feels a terrible guilt for what happened. His experimental potion was never meant to affect anyone he cared about, much less the love of his life. He works day and night to fix it, but the process is tedious. Longer does it take when stranger things occur, soon after meeting and rescuing a hybrid named Kay. Strangely, the hybrid is in the same predicament as Tyra, but with a much more bizarre story to tell. Events involving bloodshed and mysterious characters become frequent. Seto and his best friend Brice soon find it harder and harder to protect Tyra and Kay in a world full of predators and deceit.
