Grim the Reaper is a notorious mass murderer in Japan who has been suspected of killing over a dozen people in the span of 4 years and successfully evaded the pro heroes. That is, until she got caught, she was sent to a mental hospital after it was revealed that "Grim" is actually a 16 year old girl who repeatedly refuses to tell anyone what her quirk is. Despite her psychopathic tendencies, Grim actually is a calm and collected individual who seemingly has remorse for her crimes, but not for the reasons people expect. During one of her psychiatric evaluations, her doctor remembers a concept that Nezu, the principle of the most prestigious hero school, U.A. High, had spoken about, villain rehab. That was how Grim ended up being class 1-A's newest student.
