A Nigerian themed book  {UNEDITED}

"Drop the act already, Angel needs to know the truth, you're far worse than I am, hypocrite." Amara spat.

"Go ahead tell her, I dare you. Why are you mute? Tell her and see if daddy won't cane you- I'll rather take my sister's side" Ngozi said, in a more relaxed tone.

The air in the room suddenly grew thick, my chest tightened, did I just hear her say SISTER!! Was she referring to me. My head began to spin.

"Half sister" Amara corrected.

The transition from childhood to adolescence is not an easy one, and it wasn't any different for me.

My birth was a mistake, I'm simply an output of the actions made by two individuals. How do I learn to live in a world I wasn't fully prepared for? And also overcome difficult phases of my life as a teenage girl living in Lagos Nigeria without a manual. My name is Angel, and this is my story.

Please Note: Some chapters in the book revolve around topics regarding puberty, domestic violence etc

"I'm sorry Luna," I said, with the little bit of respect I could muster and slightly bowed my head. "But I can't simply forgive you. You're still thinking that I'm no good for your son. I want to be a part of your family and be happy with you guys and also make your son happy. But right now your thinking I'm just some whore that doesn't know how to properly love your son the way you love him." "Mother, what does she mean by your still thinking?" All I saw on Andre's face at that moment was the worry he felt for his mother. I knew his mother wasn't like this. I didn't know her personally since I haven't been around for a long time but something was definitely wrong with the current Luna. "I'm sorry son but I just can't come to terms with what has happened. I need a bit of time to process." "Does 90 minutes cover the time you need dear?" the alpha said. He had a worried expression on his face too. What did he mean by 90 minutes? Did something happen when I was in that dream? Follow the life of Katalina Regina as she starts her journey on finding out her true power, her true potential and maybe even her king. Will she find a way to surpass all the trials and errors in her way? Or will she fail miserably and die trying? Keep reading to find out! FOR MATURE AUDIENCES contains brief sex scenes and extreme violence Don't be afraid to leave some critiques and let me know what you think about each chapter. 'At first it was about your virginity but you were stubborn so I took it slow, till I got what I wanted' he said, his eyes void of emotion. 'Turns out you're easy and a slut at that' he completed as Hauwa laughed heartily. Tears fell from my eyes freely, like a waterfall, like dew on the desert. I swallowed to ease my parched throat as I bit my lips trying not to scream. My breath was becoming uneven as I strode to where he stood and slapped him across the face with all the anger, the sorrows and frustration that were bottled up on me. 'You disgust me' I managed to say as tears started to blur my vision and for a second I saw hurt in his eyes or maybe I assumed it. I ran, bumping into tables, chairs and people, I didn't care. Ammi always told me there was a thin line between love and hate and I had crossed that line today with Sadiq', the one that wiped away my tears and told me it was going to be fine, my calm after the storm was actually my enemy in disguise. Shit!!! When it rains it fucking pours. ____________ Will she loose herself or find love in the most unexpected place?

My words vanished the moment I locked gazes with the girl in question. I looked down at the book in my hand. Fenix Alade was written boldy on the front page. My eyes travelled back to the girl again, with confusion. "Delight?" I gulped and Fenix's textbook fell out of my grasp. ~•~ "This isn't funny Evan! Do you know how much it hurts me to see you with another girl? Do you think I haven't tried to get you out of my head? I don't even understand anymore" "Fenix? You like me?" "Yes baby! I love you!" I stretched my arms out for a hug, but Evan stupidly stepped backwards, evading my embrace. "Evan? I don't understand. I love you,I want you to be my boyfriend. Is that too hard for you?" "No" he replied quickly without a thought. ~•~ "You didn't have to write me a letter" Sky said, making confusion cloud my countenance. "What?" "You wrote me a letter, Mima. You don't have to deny it" Sky pulled out a folded piece of paper from his pocket. "I didn't write any letter to you Sky" "That's not even my writing, Sky. It's probably a set up" "Who would want to set you up?" He asked, starting at me strangely. ~•~ "Who's the thing? You couldn't even maintain Gabby" she scoffed at me, trailing a finger down Gabriel's chest. "You're right. I don't maintain trash" "Dorothy! Watch it!" The random girl shouted at me. In the blink of an eye, Anita launched herself at me. Tah!!
