When New Yorker Shelly finds out that her best friend, Georgia, has cancer with a life expectancy of one year, both their lives change change drastically. Instead of going through with plans to go streaking through Central Park or crash a party on Wall Street, doctors appointments consume their time and hospital bills drain their bank accounts. Broke and splitting her time between school and a job that doesn't pay nearly enough, Shelly watches her Georgia deteriorate, unable to help her with the one thing she wished she could. But one day when Shelly finds something pinned on Georgia's fridge, all that changes. With an incomplete bucket list and a new age pianist who doesn't seem to understand the words, "She's dying, don't even think about it." Shelly just might be getting the adventure shes always wanted, just not the way she imagined it.
