Their faces were now dangerously close in that exchange and the only thing Theo could think of while he felt the warm breath of the beta on his lips was that he hated him, he hated him with all of himself, and he hated him because he had the suffocating need of knowing that he was safe, that he was fine, while he ran towards danger every second.

«Liam... please» he said then in a whisper, as if he didn't really want to say it aloud and at the same time he couldn't help it less. Their lips were now definitely too close, only a few millimetres separated them and Theo only felt the urgent need to close that damned distance after the beta's words
