Katie never imagined something like this could happen to her. She always thought she would live peacefully with her millionaire Dad and twin brother Kyle. Luke somehow turns out not to be Luke as unexpected events occur in her life.

Her family gets captured, Dad's company was taken over by an enemy, but not the enemy we expected and she gets to meet people she never even thought off.

Adventure. Teenromance. Family wars. Heart breaks. Is what to expect from our story, WHEN REALITY HITS PERFECT.

Trust me guys the story is more fun than how it's been put cause I'm not really good at writing these things.

                           ************

"What's wrong?" He asked and I pointed straight ahead where light was pouring in.

He still looked at me confused, not getting what I was saying. I sighed before opening my mouth

"Run" and as soon as I said that the door was kicked open and we could hear them shouting.

"Where are those little trouble makers?" they asked her but she shook her head telling them she had no idea where we were.

One growled madly like an angry lion and yelled
"You can run away little kiddies but you can't hide forever" and with that we heard gun shots and curses but little did they know, we were already out the door.....

This story has a touch of violence and abusive words. Hope you love it. Every character and event happening is just my imaginationse, no copying my story

There is a darkness that lives in silence. Not the kind you can hear. Not the kind you can fight or run from. It is the quiet that settles in the spaces between words. The empty rooms where laughter once echoed, now hollow and cold. The glance that flickers away too fast, the words that hover on the tip of a tongue but never fall. It is a darkness made of things left unsaid. Of promises broken without a sound. Of love turning brittle and sharp. You don't feel it at first. You tell yourself everything is fine. That the smiles are real. That the morning sunlight warming the kitchen is enough to hold the day together. But deep down, something is unraveling. You can't see the threads coming loose, but they pull harder with every breath you take. The foundation beneath you trembles, slow and steady. The people who are supposed to be your safe harbor-your family-are falling apart behind closed doors. And you stand in the middle, too young to understand, too old to ignore the shadows in their eyes. They tell you to be happy. To be strong. To believe in the future. But their voices falter. Their hands shake. They hide secrets in whispered phone calls and hurried gestures. And even when you don't want to see it, you know. You know that this summer is not a break. It is a reckoning. A reckoning wrapped in warm air and salty sea breeze. A reckoning dressed as a fresh start. Because some silences are louder than screams. And some endings don't wait for the night to fall. They begin in the golden light of a seemingly ordinary morning. The moment before everything breaks.

"Hey, who are you?" I could tell he wasn't trying to scare him off while still trying to establish the fact that we could hurt him if we wanted to. "I was gonna ask you the same question," he replied. "But since to beat me to it, I'm Eli. I'm just a seventeen-year-old kid out here alone. Y'all seem to be in the same situation." His southern accent was thick but definitely not South Carolinian. It sounded more like he was from Alabama or Mississippi. "True. For how long?" "Four weeks. I ran away because of...circumstances," he said, trailing off on the last word. "Prove to us you're not dangerous," Marcus threatened. "Prove to me you're not dangerous," Eli countered. "I don't even know your names." "Fine. I'm Marcus, that's Peyton, Luke, and Aaliyah," he answered, gesturing toward each of us as he spoke. I could tell he didn't trust the guy, but he seemed good enough. He hadn't said anything to make us distrust him, but he also hadn't said anything to make us trust him. "Look, dude, I'm not trying to hurt you. I'm looking for something a friend told me about a few weeks ago. She said there was a whole network of teens out here, but there's a camp somewhere in Florida that gives them a place to stay. Secret, of course, and run by teens, but anyway, it seems safer than being out here and living off the land." "Wait, you mean there are more of us?" I asked. ☁ Three teenagers find themselves rejected by their families after they're all unexpectedly outed on the same night. With the help of their friend, they head to the streets in search of freedom and acceptance. Along the way they meet another boy, and there's more to him then they could have ever guessed. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

When I shut the door behind me I realized that no cars were driving out here either. They were all empty and abandoned. As I strolled by there were no people talking in the coffee shop windows. There were no people eating in restaurants. There were no sounds except my heavy breathing and the howling wind. "HELLOOOOOOOO" I shouted, "IS ANYONE HEREEEEE HELLOOOOO!!?" I continued to call out to no one in particular feeling a little agitated by the growing silence. That's when I heard it... The winds howling came to a stop. The world seemed to stop turning.
