Clara always dreamed of falling in love. After her mother's passing, Clara's father left her to deal with the grief, a cafe, and his darkest secret. Living a simple life of running her mother's old cafe and bakery, the last thing she expected to be was kidnapped by a handsome mafia boss. 

Caius never planned for her to happen. 
As a member of the Italian mafia, Caius grew up knowing nothing but brutality, danger and revenge. He is tasked to bring in one of the most wanted men in the city, Justin Calloway. The order is simple, do whatever it takes to bring the man in, dead or alive. 

After a few chance meetings, Caius must decide: follow orders or protect the woman he's fallen for. The only issue? That woman is Justin Calloway's daughter.
