étoile martin used to be a student of beauxbatons academy of magic from age 11 to age 16. after her 17th birthday, a horrible incident occurred resulting in her and her fellow classmate's almost deaths. several families including étoile's were upset with this and were withdrawn from the school. a lot of the students moved countries and enrolled at different schools that were deemed much safer than beauxbatons. étoile's parents insisted on her enrolling into hogwarts. sadly, none of her friends she had at beauxbatons didn't transfer to hogwarts, so étoile is starting the first term at a new school completely alone.
