Joy
Ironic name for someone who hasn't smiled in who knows how long now. It used to be such a fitting name for me but now my mom has left, I'm stuck in a new town senior year, and on the first day of school I've already made a gigantic fool of myself. Just as I think all hope is lost I meet Floyd, a stranger in a dark room, but after our weekly conversations, he becomes less of a stranger and more of everything I didn't know I needed.

Lennon
I've never been anything special, at least not to anyone in this stupid town I can't wait to get out of. Everything has always been about my twin brother. He was your All American, typical guy. Quarterback, class president, dating the cheerleader. He's the guy everyone cared about. Me? It's not like I was a loser but I wasn't him. I wasn't really anything to anyone. Until Einstein came along. She made me feel like I was something, like I could be anything I wanted, and suddenly I couldn't wait for Saturday.
