LOST IN THE DARKNESS: An Evil Kion Story

Kion proudly stood up on the rock as the animals of the Tree of Life, a place animals go for healing, cheered for their new king and queen.
"They don't love you." a voice said.
"Huh," Kion responded, "what did you say, Rani?"
Rani, the new queen and Kion's mate, replied, "I said, 'they love you.' I think you will make a great king."
"Oh, thanks. I appreciate that." Kion replied.
Kion stared back at the cheering animals and smiled. But the smile quickly faded away when he saw fire everywhere and dead animals in front of him. His friends... dead. His family... dead. Everyone he loved was dead; Kion glanced over at Rani to see her all bloody. Her eye was bruised with a dark purple and black color showing and swelling; her body shredded from a viscous animal.
"How could you do this?" her voice was raspy with sorrow in her voice.
Kion was panicking, his breath was heavy, and his heart pounded. He quickly rubbed his eyes and looked up, everything was back to normal with animals smiling and cheering.
Kion thought that he was just nervous being a king for the first time in his life and he needs to calm down. But he couldn't figure out why he had that vision. But this was just the beginning of pain, sorrow, misery, and a chaotic life because Kion was losing his mind.
