The Horse That Cried Meltdown. (Rewritten)

In a strange world, secretly filled to the brim with the supernatural, from just under the nose of the public eye, Marvin must continue to work without hesitation for the in scrutiny and overwhelming pressure, for the Foundation, and their battle to preserve normalcy. His work is cut short by an accident at his former work site, the Darlington nuclear power plant. After being caught in the middle of the crossfire, Marvin is trapped and exposed to untold levels of radiation, leaving his body and mind in disarray for years to come. Over time, his colleagues begin to question whether his suspicions of foul play can be trusted, as it seems he is beginning to lose his mind. And it doesn't help that a strange creature has begun to follow him wherever he goes.

Content warning: depictions/discussions of extreme blood and gore, illness and torture. Depictions/discussions of topics such as suicide, addiction, drugs, PTSD, etc.

(This takes place during and after the Scp animated Long horse episode. Go watch it for context on some of the story. Just know that this is an alternative take on the tale and adds some characters and my interpretation of the accident)
