This is a Imbibitor Lunae/Dan Feng and OC romance while also being very lore heavy with my own speculations. It involves more fantasy than love, in my own way. !!SPOILER HEAVY!! ----- What if Dan Feng and Ying Xing were originally in an inseparable trio? What if the Xianzhou had actually changed the records of their past, so that they could completely blame Dan Heng for his sins when in truth, there was a third story? Stubborn, unreasonable and a total disaster. That was what Dan Feng described her. From the day they first met, he had never felt comfortable around her. Yue is a human, who was adopted by one of the Alchemy Commissioners. Though she does not know her origins, she had been humble and devoted, only to be treated as a slave, especially since she possessed no special abilities. Ying Xing, a kind yet deadly gentleman, finds her when he visits, and slowly becomes attracted to her personality. He reaches out to her, and eventually gains her trust. But as the High Cloud Quintet slowly crumbles apart, and the Ambrosial Arbor is eating at Luofu's defenses, Yue finds herself in a dilemma. A human in a world of immortals, taken into a small yet well known family, hated by the people for her friendship with two of the High Cloud Quintet. She was called a schemer, a mastermind that poisoned the minds of her two friends. But what she seemed, wasn't just a damsel in distress. She was a warrior, and they both saw that. A third story to the famous Blade and Dan Heng rivalry (in my own way). Warning : I do not ship Renheng, so do not force that onto this book or any of the readers.

"Humanity was a mistake." Many voices cried out. But one of them was louder than the rest. A simple life that yearned for something else than her prison of fate, her life of isolation, her destiny of destruction, her present of agony. "Humanity was a mistake." Cried that little voice into the damp walls of the forgotten cell that would be her tomb, never to see the light of day again and all of this suffering because of something she didn't understand, just what was the honkai? What was a herrscher? And goddamn, why was all this secrecy around her agony of a life? "Humanity was a mistake." And a mistake it would have remained in her eyes, worth destruction and erasure, honkai being the true way of the world... If some perky Kaslana's and many others hadn't gotten in the way. "Humanity was a mistake." Was whispered with a ray of something... Not hope, not disdain, just cold acceptance. It would always be a mistake but some parts of it shined bright enough to be worth keeping around.
