Leo Wants To Die
Winter is settling in, the air becoming nippy and cold, sinking deep into Leo's body. He doesn't move an inch. 'How long does it take to freeze to death?' Leo wondered, tucking his arms closer to his body, 'Ages probably...' He should go back, really, it was getting late. They'd be mad at him for being out so late. He was always messing up, so it wouldn't be any different than usual. He knew he was a headache. Maybe it would be better if he were- . It's been years since the almost apocalypse happened, all their wounds were healed and tough talks were had. So why is Leo feeling like this? What is wrong with him? Everything is fine! Why can't he just enjoy this happy ending like he's supposed to!? They say grief comes in six stages. First, it's the initial shock of losing someone you love. Next, it's denial of the fact that they are really, truly gone. This is followed by a wave of anger at not only yourself, but those around you. You can bargain all you want, but nothing can change the past. After all this, you fall into a grey area of depression. "Kassauni, there is more to life than continuous pain and suffering. I am sure you know that, and no one is asking you to go through it alone," She told me. I took a long drag from the blunt and held it in my lungs before releasing it. "Whatever yah talk 'bout sound like a fairy tale and mi nuh want yuh feel like me is a problem fi yuh fix," I stated, staring into her eyes. She frowned, deeply. "You need to talk to someone, or me. I am here for you if you need anything." Her voice came out softer than usual. "Rosalia, left that. It nuh concern yuh," I told her. She hissed her teeth and slapped the blunt out of my hand. Tragically Yours
How does one cope when someone close to them is gone? Some will do their best to move on, while others will hold on to the hope that they'll be back on their life. Occasionally, other people will fight until the end to have them back. True love means you have to fight for them, right? But not everyone has the determination to keep on fighting. I am one of those people who got tired of fighting and ended up hoping they'll be back. I got tired of looking for her, the only thing left I could do is to write and create a play in hopes that she'll find her way back to me. Unfortunately, all I could write is filled with tragic endings since I don't have a glimpse of a happy ending.
