During the day, Alyssa Clark is the most renowned scientist at Alchemax Labs, well-known for her developing research on time-travel and multidimensional travel. During the night, she's the Black Cat--Spider-Man's mortal enemy.

Miguel O'Hara is another scientist at Alchemax, one of the only people there who can keep up with Alyssa, and it's common to find the two of them working together on challenging projects and questions. Of course, he's also her enemy outside of work; the one-and-only Spider-Man 2099.

When Tyler Stone, both Alyssa and Miguel's boss and the man who turned them into what they are, assigns the two of them to work together on a mission to find Spider-Man and the Black Cat's identities and they end up investigating each other, things get complicated.

TO CLARIFY: In my version of this story (by the way, I do not own the character Miguel O'Hara and all credit goes to Marvel), Tyler Stone is not Miguel's father, unlike in the comics.
