Donnie, in all his genius glory, isn't perfect. His tech isn't perfect. And God knows his experiments aren't perfect. And that's never bothered him much, until one day his experiments mishap causes a mistake that could have deadly consequences for everyone's favorite blue masked turtle. Can he save his beloved twin, or will Donnie have to live with the guilt of what he's done for the rest of his life.

April O'Neil: So, you wrote a book... Me: A long-ass book. April: A long-ass book! How did it come about? Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right. Unfortunately it blocked me, the heroine in my story was too complex and too concrete, and so I gave it up, even if it was no longer a real xreader story. April: And now you're writing a second book? Me: Exactly. The sequel. I'm on it. April: Do you want to give us a little teaser? Me: Well, there's still Leo and his complicated relationship with my heroine. And in the sequel, he finds out that he actually likes rabbits, too. April: Yeeeah? Me: No, no - I don't want to give too much away! April: Am I also on board again? What could these aliens possibly want from her? Will Valkyrie be able to work with the others and help save their worlds? Or will she crash and burn to the ground, spiraling into her delusions and rage? God have mercy on this book.

It wouldn't be surprising if Leo got some unneeded criticism from his older brother, Raph, after Leo suddenly became the leader of him and his brothers. Mikey was always the one who tried to make things better, but he noticed things between them all have changed. Donnie is more obsessed with his lair and invention. Raph likes to cause fights with Leo at times and everything is just chaos. Mikey decides that after he's done with a single fight, he goes off to try and gain some peace, but he runs into someone. Big Mama's so-called assistant was discarded after Big Mama gained "Shadow Fiend", so the assistant ran off in fear of being killed. But the odd thing is that there is more to the mutant than meets the eye. For one, she's a mutant turtle hybrid and is living on the streets of the surface. So what happens when her usual stealing is stopped by Mikey? A friend of mine made the silhouettes of the turtles but I made the cover with Canva.
