Some people say it's cheating. Others say it's crazy. First- timers say it's luck. Maddie doesn't know what it is. All she knows is that she has won every gamble ever since her Dad brought her to Poker night when she was 5. She has always gotten away with pickpocketing. Never once lost, and never gotten addicted. However, on her sixteenth birthday and eleventh year of gambling, Maddie doesn't want to be her father's money machine anymore. She wants out of the gambling, lying, stealing and cheating world her Dad lives in. She wants to be normal for once. So she makes a deal with her father: she has to lose once; only once, and her father will leave her alone and never mention gambling again. But there's a hitch: Maddie can't lose. No matter how much she tries.
