Once he successfully joins the Port Mafia as an intern, he is given a mission to track down a certain organization in Yokohama. The leader of the Port Mafia, Ogai Mori, pairs Chuuya with Dazai Osamu, the one person Chuuya didn't seem to get along with very well. The two of them began their mission, with a few fights and moments here and there, a lot changed when they worked together, including their feelings for eachother. When their mission ended, it was also time for them to end their partnership, but something in both of their hearts just knew that they wanted something more, and not just a one time thing.

Chuuya swears he hates Dazai. But when Dazai and him are put in certain situations that make them open up more to each other, Chuuya realised he felt something else. After one certain mission all Chuuya can think about is dazai. When he even so much as looks at him with a real smile Chuuya felt his heart race. He knew it was impossible, but he felt like he was starting to fall in love. Despite his protests, Chuuya was slowly starting to realise that he and Dazai were intertwined in ways he never expected. He had to admit, maybe he didn't hate Dazai as much as he thought.
