Jennifer Mullins is a new student to Hogwarts, which wouldn't be so strange if she wasn't 16.
Jennifer always knew about magic, but not like this, where it was a tool instead of being something to fear. She finds herself enjoying Hogwarts, and makes a friend in a lonely boy named Severus Snape.
But Severus is acting different, and it's keeping her up at night. He's hiding something, and Jennifer can't bear to lose her new friend. It's affecting her so much she's assigned a tutor in Defence Against the Dark Arts.
Jennifer doesn't know much about him, but something tells her Remus Lupin is going to be trouble.
