Two destined paths are found intertwined once more; though not in the best circumstances. The question is; do they forfeit their pathway for a second time?
Finn; a career driven engineer determined to prioritise his career and country is met with a complication as he finds himself on an unintentional date with Olivia, his school sweetheart. "Do you forfeit?" He bellowed into my ear drums as I hunched breathlessly in the dirt.
"No Lieutenant!" I grunted, staggering to my feet and breaking into a sprint down the field for the sixth lap in the pouring rain, my lungs ready to cave in.
"Do you forfeit?" She raises a brow, threatening the blade to my throat.
"Fine." I smiled, grasping her close to me as we both broke into a chuckle. She's a breath of fresh air, I thought.
