The eerie, gloomy town of Wynstan Hills holds a big secret.
Mackenzie James has the perfect life working as a teacher in the city and writing articles for the local newspaper.
However, when she finds a mysterious concealed box in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the James family.
The box leaves Mackenzie with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off towards dark Wynstan Hills to find some answers.
After a while, her journey begins to draw her into a web of robbery, fraud and perhaps even kidnapping.
Can Mackenzie resist the life of crime and uncover the secret of the concealed box before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Wynstan Hills legend?
