Humans can't stand elves, elves wish for peace.

Two boys, a friendship turned relationship looked down upon. An older brother, struggling to support himself and his brother.

Two boys, their junior year of high school. One an elf, the other a human. A secret friendship is formed, trust is given and earned, trust is broken. One is betrayed one is guilty. Trust is slowly earned and gained, a secret relationship is formed.

An older brother who wants to protect his brother but battles demons from their past. A brother who is lost, alone, afraid. A brother, with so much on his shoulders.

Elves struggle to find good work, good pay, many juggle several jobs to keep food on the table and keep their families stable.

Humans, normally, easily find good work, good pay, they settle with one job and manage to keep food on the table, keep their families stable.

Two boys, afraid of being caught, one follows the crowd, the other hides away.

Or, two teenage boys, one named Luke, one named Noah, accidentally meet each other on their first day of junior year and a friendship blossoms, turning into a relationship. Yet, society's rules and expectations get in the way of their happiness.

Noah's older brother, Parker, supports himself and Noah. Their mother dead, their father in prison for abuse. A college graduate at 20, due to skipping grades and focusing all his effort into studying, and a current medical student at 22. He takes his role as Noah's guardian and brother seriously.
