Katie Klarika is a normal 14-year old girl with a busy mom and a very busy dad. One day she finds out her mom and dad will be away on work for a year. She feels like the worlds ending, and it is because now she has to go live with her abusive aunt, uncle, and her two older cousins who live across the country. Since she lives with them for a year, it means she has to start at a new school in the middle of the school year. There she doesn't meet many friends because she tested into the 11th grade when she was supposed to be in the 9th grade. Not many people are willing to talk to her because of the age difference, but when she outsmarts the most popular group of boys. Everyone starts to see her differently. Not in a way she wanted people to see her, as a threat. Then one day something very bad happens to Katie and only one other person finds out. A super popular boy from her school named Zach and does one of the most amazing things Katie would ever imagine. Soon she knows everything about him, but what he and everyone else doesn't know is that Katie has a big secret that she hasn't told anyone about, Not even her parents. It could even put her life in danger. The question is, will she be able to keep it a secret or will someone find out?

He remembers her just fine from a couple of years ago and all the feelings are back. He knows she doesn't remember him and he'll use this as his leverage to do what he has to do. It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business.
