~ I winced, shutting my eyes and preparing for the slap approaching me, but there wasn't one. "Where the hell did he come from?" Jackson asked. My eyes snapped open to see a tall, lean figure before me with black curly hair and a black leather jacket, holding Amelia's wrist tightly. "L-let go of me!" Amelia whimpered as tears gathered in the corners of her eyes. "Elain," his deep voice called to me. I snapped out of it and met his grayish-blue eyes.
"Y-yes?" I asked. "Are you hurt?" he asked. I shook my head, "I-I'm okay..." He turned his gaze back to Amelia and her followers; whatever look he gave them, their faces paled to a ghostly white. "Touch her again; I'll kill you fuckers," he growled out before he let Amelia's wrist go. At that moment, I didn't know if he was my guardian angel or demon.
