Love was never on the agenda; it was never a part of the big picture. It was a concept that was written off from her vocabulary, and all she needed was power, knowledge, money, and sex. She had it all until he made sure they meant nothing if he was not in her life.

Thunder and lightning cause goosebumps to proliferate all over her damp skin as the cold metal of the knife grazes her flesh. After each stroke, the knife leaves a trail of heat, contradicting and defying what her body should feel.
Fear.

Love shouldn't have crossed her mind at that point as she stood frozen yet shaking at his venereal act. Bolts of electricity fought their way through her body, and as the flash of lightning traced what should have been a monster, she instead saw a God.

And there was no running from his or her feelings for him. The cold, rainy night couldn't overcast the intense love and lust she had for the man who was slowly gazing down at her nakedness.
