15 year old Hazel Johnson is a destructive enchantress-in-training that was born into a family of healers, living in the Ivory Place Garden. Unlike the rest of her family Hazel's powers are full of danger and destruction, while everyone else has always peace and healing she is cast out among her own family until one day she loses control of her power completely in an event that will change her life forever. She is then sent to Mr. Hartwell a cold-hearted mentor who has trained thousands of sorcerers and enchantresses. As she learns more from him her powers grow and she grows fearful of what her power can inflict on others. It doesn't help that a new girl in her town tries to convince her to use her powers for a secret agenda. Her life becomes even more complicated when she discovers that her father had a dark secret before he died. She must find the truth about her father to finally truly be who she is meant to be. Will Hazel complete the dark task that Emelia has planned for her? Or will she rise above and become the most powerful enchantress of the century? A/N this is based off an ELA assignment i had to do for school sorry if it sucks :/
