Charlene Inoue, an 18-year-old Japanese girl who lives in Wanshiko Drive 3520, Japan. Her father died when she was little, young enough when she just stepped foot in kindergarten. Looking at the stars after her father passed away she always dreamed of being an astronaut. From her childhood, she has faced a lot of difficulties in her life as well as in her family as she grew up in poverty. She grew up with the support of her mom and her older sister Gracia Inoue. One day she received a letter that was going to change her life. Charlene after all the loss of blood, sweat, and tears, got into her dream university in California, in the USA. As Charlene was in the first stage of her success she had an unpleasant future waiting for her... A deadly virus spreads into Charlene's hometown turning everyone into cannibals. What will Charlene do? What will happen to her family? Was the last time Charlene saw her family going to be the last? Will she ever see them again?
