Close Your Eyes

Stella Rae was not your typical Sophomore in high school. She wasn't part of the popular group but neither was she an outcast. She wasn't shy, and everyone liked her but she kept to herself a majority of the time. Although she was 16, romance was never an option despite her best friend since sixth grades constant begging. Stella new that she was just hoping of the day when she could go on double dates but the thought of it made her want to gag. Relationships were too much work and would take away from the time she could be spending watching Netflix.

A few weeks after the start of a new school year her math teacher Ms. Conway finally lost her marbles for good and was forced to check herself into a mental institution. Her replacement was everything the kids had not expected. Instead they were greeted by the handsome Mr. Niall James Horan. His hair was blonde, though you could tell he dyed it because of the brown coming through by his roots. His voice was deep, and very very Irish. His eyes were so blue they sent shivers down the spine of anyone lucky enough to have them look into theirs. What the students found most surprising, was his age. He was only 21.

As expected everyone in the entire high school was drawn to him. The girls wanted to get him in bed and the guys wanted to see what he was all about. The most intriguing thing was the fact that he actually got Stella's attention. As much as she wanted to ignore it and pretend that she didn't even know he was there, she was drawn to him and couldn't seem to get enough. Even weirder was the fact that he was always calling her out, talking to her whenever he got a chance. He made her feel things she didn't she could.
