The year is 2016 and thanks to the efforts of lost media archivists  The Doctors past victory has been undone. The Wire is hungry and now she has the entire World Wide Web to feed on, spreading hate and intolerance and division. Tearing humanity apart in an act of revenge for her imprisonment.  
The 13th Doctor has to deal with a threat that is using humanities self destruction against itself  and deal with the potential fallout if she fails.
