This is a brief backstory to a character I have made. Unlike many of my other (must I mind you old) stories, this won't only focus on the romance, but focuses on more of the character than anything.

Now, the fun part

Kiyla is your stereotypical 'little miss perfect'. She's the star player of her high school's varsity volley ball team, on the presidents list, and the valedictorian of that said list, and she's actively dating the hottest guy in the school. But after learning her feelings are shifting toward someone else, and that someone else is a woman, she must face the challenges that come along with it.
To make matters worse, her father is a hardcore abusive alcoholic, and takes his religion very seriously. Hence, her worries only grow.
