Sometimes, peace isn't a true occurrence, but merely a lull between the battles of a wider conflict. This is true within the context of the EVO conspiracy, a phenomena that had the world tearing apart at the seams almost three decades ago. A phenomena that had seen nanite particles bond to the DNA of countless innocents, transforming them into mindless rampaging monsters. A tragedy that was supposed to have met a chilling conclusion as per the worldwide cure event initiated by one Rex Salazar; but as the ghosts of the past resurface with a mission to recreate the age of chaos without the presence of their original saviour, peace becomes little more than a dream, a fading vapour entertained by fools.

This was also particularly true for sixteen year old beachside talent Israel Oliveira, a satisfied-yet-displaced young man at the peak of a career in it's budding stages but also one at the summit of a cliff destined for a slow, painful descent. Due to the winding hand of action and consequence, Israel becomes not only intertwined with a powerful evil thought lost in years past, but he becomes caught at the epicentre of a war between Providence and the newest contingent of terrorists hell-bent on destroying the foundation of a previously healed society.
