Mackenzie Thorn is one of the most dangerous underground fighters. She was known as the "Thorn" in the ring. She raised herself after her parents were killed when she was little by a rival mafia gang. Did I forget to mention she was also the ruler of the Italian mafia the "spina del diavolo." (Devils thorns in Italian.) She wasn't close with anyone, and didn't believe in love. In school she was quiet, but violent. Everyone knew to stay away. Until her mafia and her decide to move to a new location in New York. Now she is attending a new school and needs to keep her identity and past a secret. Will she be able to when Ace Alvarez comes into the picture? Will they butt heads or will they realize love does exist.
