Such A Pretty Nerd

I continue to stare up at the ceiling, as I have done for the past half an hour. How can I be so lucky as to have a beautiful, funny, amazing and apparently sassy girlfriend? I ponder on the thought before lifting my head to look at the front door, where a knock just came from. I drop my head back on the couch, squeezing my eyes shut for a split second before jumping up and walking to the front door.
"Coming!"
I reach for the door knob and twist, opening the door. The door is shoved open and I am knocked back on the ground. My eyesight is blurry and my head is pounding, I look up at the person who just barged into my house. My heart stops. He's back.
He smiles an evil toothy grin.
