A hundred of years ago there was a war, the war was called Posiden's War. It was the bloodiest war the kingdoms had ever seen, bodies of their soldiers would be either eaten by the creatures or float to the New World, the land. A foolish war, yes but it was the war between the Sirens and Merfolk, it determined their worth. Who won?

When Alistair Melek gave his life to the sea, a various degree of things changed. For starters, his love for bloodshed was exemplified. Bolder. He was drawn to the clash of a sword, blood spiling below to floorboards, like a moth drawn to a flame. And this love was damned to spread through his crew as some treacherous disease, claiming any and all who joined. But he knew this was the price he'd pay. The price for the sea itself. So when his crew completes another standard loot and pillage from a merchant ship, he allows his men a bit of fun. He liked to give them an audience, rounding up those who didn't fall victim to the blade during battle, and forcing them to beg for their lives. To prove how much they really wanted to live. Alistair had ruled the sea for some years now. Killed thousands, maybe tens of thousands. Destroyed hundreds, maybe thousands of vessels. And yet, each feeble human was all the same. There was not one man he threatened that didn't beg for their lives with all they had in them when faced with the wrong end of the sword. Each feeble human was always the same. Or so he thought. And yet, he also thought that this would be one standard job. A treat for his men after a night of good work. But this particular survivor, the one with long white hair and dead looking eyes... He wasn't a merchant. He couldn't have been. More important, there was no hesitancy when Alistair asked the fairly built man whether he wanted to live, and the man replied with a simple no.

He knew he was blushing; he could feel it. Boy, did he hate that. "I-I never sleep," his eyes darted away for a moment, "maybe I was thinking of all the ways I could bash your face in. Devyn glared at those jade eyes, his lip curling slightly. He pressed their bodies closer, his leg slipping between Lexin's. "If you think-" Devyn's words died from his lips as Lexin nearly whimpered, from both embarrassment and pleasure. Devyn's firm thigh was now pressed against his rock-hard dick, and he had no excuse as to why it was hard. The two stared at each other in a thick silence, Lexin's eyes wide and Devyn's unreadable. "Y-you should-" "Is this why you're up," Devyn's tone began to drop, "couldn't find a good fuck at the party?" Lexin glared and tried his best not to grind his hips forward and release some of the pain. "If I wanted to, I would have," he scowled. "Since when do you come home unsatisfied? We both know you can't keep it in your pants," Devyn's eyes stayed locked on the bruises. "Prick," Lexin hissed. Unable to stop himself, his hips pressed forward this time, his eyebrows pinching together. To his surprise Devyn pushed back. He wasn't gentle about it either as he applied the weight of his muscular thigh onto Lexin's hard on. Devyn's dark eyes flicked to his before he leaned down, brushing his lips on the shell of Lexin's ear. "You want to tell me why you're so hard, princess?" Lexin turned beat red, "Stop calling me that." "That's not an answer," Devyn slid his head down and brushed his lips over the sore hickey. ~'~ WARNING: this book has a choking and biting kink.
