The Uzumakis, while researching seals and medicine and their past, found an old summoning that belonged to their clan, the Black Panther summoning, which gave them the power of a plant, which in turn gave them immense power beyond human capabilities. The Panthers even shared their chakra with the Uzumaki, which helped them made weapons with were almost indestructible, and the leaders of the Uzumakis who took the power of the plant, were given a pendant which when channeled chakra gave them an armor which resembled the black panther.
