Vampire. The Bloodsucking monsters who have returned form the dead to seek out blood from the living. Well that is what man thinks of them anyways. The truth is a bit darker that really. 

Welcome to the World of Darkness where nothing is quite what it seems. You know that nice old lady that lives down the street, well had you known she was some kind of ghoul you might have thought better then egging her house last year.

This is a group of short stories I have roaming in my mind about the World of Darkness Vampires and their kin.

Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home.
