In life we see things picture perfect. When we don't, we assume there is another angel and its all better again. But in truth, it never is. You can put together a smashed mirror, but you can see still the cracks. 
 
Charlotte has the perfect image, gets good grades, cheerleader, sporty, not a slut, perfect rich parents, her life is glossy and unmarked...to the untrained eye. If you looked closely her smile doesn't meet her emerald green eyes, or how her tone is as bubbly as it seems. 
She's close friends with the IT boy, but doesn't  have relationship feelings for him. Its just a staged couple for the world. The only person she trust with her life.
