Echo (Troyler AU)

Tyler Oakley is a 19 year old boy living in L.A. He witnessed a horrific tragedy first-hand at the age of 5. He's been traumatized since. To make it even worse, his parents blamed Tyler for the incident and told everyone they knew, the story of that night. Everyone was against him. His friendships failed. Relationships, failed. He was and still is picked on for what happened so many years ago, though he doesn't even remember a single detail of that tear-jerking night. He remembers only what, not how. He believes every single word his parents say about him. He has no one to turn to. No one to help hold his head above water. Except, maybe, one person. If a voice were considered a person, that is. He started having dreams a couple weeks after that tragedy. He hears the angelic voice over and over again in his dreams. The same soothing words every night. These constant echoes, these comforting echoes of hope, just might be the one thing keeping Tyler alive.
