Hyunjin's grip tightened around the steering wheel, his knuckles turning white. He couldn't allow Felix into his life, not when he was haunted by the ghosts of his past, unable to protect even his own sister. The thought of her out there, alone and suffering, gnawed at his sanity. And then there was Felix, a beacon of light in his dark world. God, how he longed to surrender, to let Felix's smile fill the emptiness in his heart. But he couldn't, not if it meant exposing him to the brutal reality of his life. He had to keep him safe, even if it meant sacrificing his own happiness.
But that proved to be harder to do so.

"...I wanted to show them I was fucking you, how you claimed me like I'm yours and how much I'm loving it," Felix whispered, his breath hot against Hyunjin's jaw as he nipped at the skin.
"You're making this harder for me, Felix," Hyunjin growled, his voice a low rumble of desire, his lips finding Felix's in a bruising kiss.
"Mm, what? Your dick or to not get involved?" Felix gasped into the kiss, biting playfully at Hyunjin's lips. Hyunjin paused, his eyes locking with Felix's, a mix of longing and playful challenge in their depths.
