people look at heroes, look at their smiles and laughs and comfort, and think they're perfect. people look at heroes like they're gods, like they can do no wrong, and that vision has seeped into the foundation of heroics. there is pressure to be the best, to always be kind and caring and comforting, to forgive and forgive those who wrong you but not those that wrong others. you are their stepping stone, a shield for others so they don't get hurt like you were.

izuku midoriya is pressured and desperately craves change, craves being perceived as human and not untouchable. he wants people to know he is not perfect, that he has flaws and his human. he does not wish to crumble under the pressure of being a marble statue for all to gaze upon.

Meeting your idols is always a disappointment. Understanding that the people we look up to the most don't wish for our happiness, chose to turn a blind eye on our situation. Must be painful. I'm sorry you had to go through all of this. But you see... I wouldn't say you're worthless. This is far from worthless if you ask me. I'd like you to think about some things. You say you're invisible, rejected. And I wouldn't put it past society to actually make you feel like that. But you're not. This is a golden mine, a diamond in the rough. People just won't recognize your talent because of who you are. Or what you're not. - The tale of how Midoriya Izuku, whose only dream was to be a hero, ended up a villain. Who said that a 'villain' couldn't help? Most people usually forget who requires help. And Izuku will be a hero to them, because no one else will. cover is the fanart of @seilo.art on instragram, full credit to him for it the world and almost all of the characters expect two are the work of Horikoshi, the rightful owner of My Hero Academia
