London, July 1916

Six years after the infamous Banks Incident, Mary Poppins is now working as an employee in the Ministry of Magic. However, due to a violation of the International Statute of Secrecy, she finds herself in legal trouble and is called to a hearing, causing her friends from school and from London to come to her defense, as well as Albus Dumbledore. However, the only person who can vouch for her is currently fighting at the Battle of the Somme; her former employer, George Banks. As the world is currently at war, Mary takes the time to reflect on her past as a Ravenclaw at Hogwarts and shares the story of how she became the world's most famous nanny.

Based on the beloved 1964 Disney movie and the novel by P.L. Travers.
