Love lost and found in time

Emma and Regina have been friends since they were young, having been neighbors most of their lives. They lived in a small town in Maine called Storybrooke where nothing exciting ever happened.

One night a party goes too far for the two girls and Emma becomes overly emotional, blurting out her feelings for Regina that she'd been keeping for so many years. The revelation led to a drunken night of passion between the two girls and a magical pregnancy was formed.

Emma was the only one that knew about Regina's magic and she loved her even more for it. Magic hadn't been heard of in years in this world, people were always afraid of it and for as long as she could remember witches were hidden and something not discussed.

Not long after, Regina's mother arranged a marriage for her with a man that was 10 years older than her. He was successful and had so much money that Regina and her family would never want or need anything again.

Having no choice in the matter as her mother had signed her away, Regina was forced to Marry Robin Locksley. Cora told Regina that if she didn't marry Robin that her and her family were going to lose everything including their home. Feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders Regina had no choice but to break Emma's heart right along with her own as she told Emma that they could never see eachother again.

Emma was left devastated and pregnant without any way to explain it. Deciding that she couldn't stay in that town the blonde decided to move to New York and start a new life for herself away from her past.

6 years later and Neal has died, she'd told everyone in her life that Neal was Henry's father. Emma hadn't ever slept with him, but besides Regina, Neal was her best friend and he had always been there for her.

Going back to Storybrooke for the first time since she'd moved away, for Neal's funeral, Emma Runs into Regina and Robin at Granny's dinner. Seeing Henry, Regina's whole life is about to change and blow up.
