This isn't another sport story where its all about being a team player. We aren't all players you know.

Even the toughest athletes don't get the respect the deserve. We are like the shadows of our school even though in our eyes we over shadow the 'famous' football team. We deserve the respect that they get. We have the same passion, the same dedication, but we don't get treated the same way.

Last year the boys cross country team won conference. The whole cross country team was ecstatic, we thought maybe this was our chance to prove ourselves. It wasn't. The football team lost during the first playoff games and yet they're more important. This year the cross country team has a challenge, there two top runners graduated the year before. Will the boys be able to step it up and keep their title as conference champs or will they break under pressure. Oscar and his teammates have to pull out a win and keep their conference title.
